THE SUPPRELIN® LA PROCEDURE
SUPPRELIN LA is usually inserted by a pediatric surgeon or a pediatric endocrinologist just under the skin of your child's inner upper arm, with a
minimally invasive procedure. The doctor will numb your child's upper arm, make a small incision, and then insert the SUPPRELIN LA implant. The incision will then be closed with stitches or surgical strips, and then covered with a bandage.
Usually, it is recommended that your child avoid heavy play, such as vigorous sports, for just 1 week. See additional care instructions regarding SUPPRELIN LA.
One procedure, one full year of therapy
One SUPPRELIN LA implant is designed to continuously deliver medication for one full year.
